Frog Fest 3

The Living Pavilion (May 1-17 2019) is a living laboratory - a recyclable, biodegradable, edible and biodiverse event space that celebrates Indigenous knowledge, ecological science and sustainable design through participatory arts practice. The circle in the middle represents a meeting space. The water represents the creek that once ﬂowed through the space and signiﬁes journey and life. The plants represent ﬂora and fauna and connection to Country and place.The Living Pavilion respectfully acknowledges the Traditional Owners of the land on which it takes place, the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nations and pay our respect to their Elders, past and present.

The Living Pavilion

Come along to Frog Fest Session 3 to learn, listen, dress up and sing all about Frogs! 
Schedule:
Frog Soundscape Tours, Frog Choir, and Frog Dress-up
Time: 10am-3pm
Location: Meeting at Main Stage
Soundscape tours will run at 10 am, 12 pm and 2 pm, each lasting for ~20 minutes.
Frog choir rehearsal and performances will be at 11 am and 1 pm, and will last ~45 minutes in total.
Costumes will be available for frog dress up (kids and adult sizes).
Frog Craft and Face Painting
Time: 10 am- 3 pm
Location: Makers space, Info Booth & Main Lawn 
Creative Clay Frogs (10 am - 3 pm): explore the frog's life cycle through mini clay sculptures. Children can take part in this immersive, fun and hands-on activity to learn how the frog transforms from an egg, through a tadpole to an adult.
Frog Drawing and Colouring (11 am - 2 pm): make or draw your own frog, colour in a frog or decorate a frog mask to wear with your frog costume.
Face Painting 11-2pm

The Living Pavilion is an outdoors event and we encourage you to dress for the weather. If weather gets the better of us we will advise whether the venue will change or the event is cancelled. Apologies in advance.
