FRIGID Nightcap

Overview

March 27 Performance: FRIENDLY FIRE

In a moment when everything feels uncertain, FRIGID Nightcap is here to embrace the messiness of it all and celebrate...

MARCH 27 PERFORMANCE: FRIENDLY FIRE

When everything is on fire, it’s easy to start shooting sideways.

FRIENDLY FIRE is a variety show about the moment you realize you’re yelling at someone who wants most of the same things you do—while the people actually causing the harm walk away whistling.

War abroad. Elections at home. Attacks on trans people as a political hobbyhorse. The constant “emergency” drip that keeps us reactive, exhausted, and ready to attack the nearest person who slightly disappoints us.

This month, we do something radical: we stop doing their work for free.

At Nightcap, we're calling for a CEASEFIRE! That means re-aiming, coalition-building, uncompromising protection of trans people and other marginalized/vulnerable groups, refusing to mistake each other for the enemy, and generally keeping each other alive.

Comedy, drag, music, performance, and whatever you need to turn rage into aim. Come laugh, scream, and leave with your coalition intact.
