Friday Night Magic - BASIC format

Join us every Friday at 7:00pm for a series of Magic: the Gathering events! Play in one of our main tournaments or a side event. There’s something for everybody with lots of free giveaways during this casual, laid-back game night!

Main Events:

• Booster Draft ($20 entry, 7:00pm start time)

• Standard (Free, 7:00pm start time)

• Pioneer (Every other Friday - $10 entry, 7:00pm start time)

• Modern (Every other Friday - $10 entry, 7:00pm start time)

Side Events:

• Commander (28 player cap - reservation available)

• Basic(Free)

• Sealed League open-play

• Special Events (Some weeks will have a special side event. Be sure to check our Event Collection Page for details on all upcoming Magic: the Gathering events.)

As a bonus side activity during Friday Night Magic, players may challenge each other in our store custom format, BASIC, to win promo prizes*. Borrow one of our pre-made decks or try creating your own! The full rules for BASIC can be found here.

Challenges are free to play. Players earn a promo prize* for playing or two if they win the challenge. Challenege as many different players as you like each Friday.

*Promo prizes include past and current promo cards and accessories like secret lair cards, box toppers, promo pack cards, older event promos, life counters, dice, and more! See the image below for a sample of what could be won.

All players will be required to check into the event with a wizards account. You can create a wizards account at https://myaccounts.wizards.com/register, on the magic companion ap (most recommended), or at the store (our staff will be happy to help you register).
