Why?  To share experiences, ideas, and reflections through meaningful conversations on topics that matter.

How?  Each FNC is  organized  and respectfully “hosted” by a volunteer conversational activist.
The “flagship” FNCs are held in mid-town Manhattan, where CNY also holds its annual global Conversation Day each June. The specific location of each of these gatherings is provided when you register at Eventbrite for that session. 
Who?  FNCs are accessible, open, and warmly welcoming to ALL, in order to benefit from the diversity of our beloved City which has been called “the capital of the country of people not like you.”  
Where?  FNCs are held in public venues like  parks, libraries, upstairs eating rooms of fast-food restaurants, business-building ground-floor atriums, community centers, libraries, etc.    At sessions that are not at an eatery, participants are usually   invited to bring their own food and drink (including, optionally,  something to contribute to a potluck).
