Join us at Holmesteading Farms for a fun event where you can bring your own beverages and learn all about raising backyard chickens! Whether you're a seasoned pro or just starting out, this event is perfect for anyone interested in pet chickens and fresh eggs.
Meet fellow chicken enthusiasts, ask questions and enjoy a relaxing evening at our farm. From coop setup to chicken care tips, we've got you covered. You'll get a handy quick reference sheet and lots of time for Q&A. Don't forget to BYOB and come ready to mingle with our feathered friend lovers. Feel free to bring the kids, they are welcome to play on the swingset or bring the family a picnic snack and setup to hangout for a bit.
This event begins at 6 pm - so you're welcome to arrive and get cozy and socialize.
Backyard Chicken talk will start at 7 pm and will run about an hour.
Between 8-9 pm you're welcome to stay and enjoy the park-like setting, bonfire, and potentially (weather permitting) walk inside the pasture with the goats and chickens, if you so choose.
