Drawing from yoga, tai chi, and dancing this seated exercise program focuses on doing movements with ease, moving intentionally and slow completion of movements one at a time. NEW INSTRUCTOR: AnneCooper
Anne Cooper, brings an outstanding performance and fitness background to her work teaching fitness, dance and other modalities. Born and raised in Oregon, Anne trained as a ballet dancer from the age of eight, gradually branching out to other forms of dance. Continuing her dance training in New York City, Anne was asked to teach at one of the first fitness studios. Anne’s dream came true when she was hired as a professional dancer for a show in Nassau, Bahamas. Returning to the Northwest, Anne ran her own business, Bodysculpture, which promoted fitness and dance. A Humanities graduate of the University of Washington, Anne continuously explores “humanity” in movement and in daily living. Anne is a Certified Feldenkrais teacher, Group Fitness Instructor and Personal Trainer (ACE) and a Level 5 MELT Instructor. In 2016 she taught a Fitness for Parkinson's class called Power Moves!
