Onco-Ballet is for all levels, all cancer types, and all abilities! We are here to spark joy through ballet movement and create safe spaces for anyone facing cancer to dance with community. We thrilled to be in NYC for a week to share these classes with the cancer community!

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to have ballet expereince?

No experience necessary! All levels, all abilities and all cancer types are welcome to join.

Can I bring a friend with me?

Yes! Please do! We understand how intimidating it can be to walk into a new dance class alone, so if you feel more comfortable bringing a friend or family member, we welcome them to join.

How much does the class cost?

We provide free Onco-Ballet classes to everyone in the cancer community. For friends or family who have not personally been impacted by cancer, we ask that you give a donation of any amount to help support our mission of keeping Onco-Ballet free to those facing cancer.

If I am running late, can I still come in?

Yes, but please come in quietly as to not disturb any of the other participants

What do I wear?

We suggest wearing anything you are comfortable moving around it. If you have ballet attire, feel free to wear it, but know you are more than welcome to wear sweats, t-shirts, socks, etc. Whatever you can dance in!
