Side-splitting, daring, and experimental, ‘Freshly Waxed!’ Is a new experience every time you see it. Seamlessly blending a variety of comedic acts - standup, characters, music, live literature… mud wrestling? Nothing is off limits! Come one, come all and laugh along with an all-star ensemble exploring current events and fresh ideas each week. Boasting talent from Chicago’s Second City, Lincoln Lodge, Laugh Factory, iO, Annoyance, CIC, Logan Square Improv, and beyond. Every show is both opening and closing night, and you’ve got a front row seat!

REFUND POLICY: Please note that refunds are only available by request up to 24 hours before the event start date. Requests for refunds after that will be declined but a credit note will be issued for future shows (via email.) Thanks.

Known primarily for the nation’s longest running independent comedy show (The Lincoln Lodge) we also produce special events, help others organizations to raise money with comedy events and offer classes (Feminine Comique and Stand-Up Seminary) to encourage more community participation in stand-up comedy. We have been very successful at nurturing local talent and can point to a long line of alumni like Hannibal Burress, Kyle Kinane, T.J. Miller, Pete Holmes and Cameron Esposito who all got their start at The Lodge. Our reputation for professionalism, talent and integrity means organizations such as Just for Laughs and Comedy Central have invited us to collaborate with them.
