French Quarter homeowners are graciously opening their courtyards for viewing during a self-guided walking tour for this one day only event May 26th from 12:00PM-4:00PM.

The casual stroll offers a glimpse into how seven (7) designers and residents take advantage of small spaces, adorned with greenery and flora to provide cool hideaways suited to the New Orleans climate.

Tickets may be picked up May 26th at The Cabildo in Jackson Square, 701 Chartres St, under the alcove from 11:00am - 3:00pm. Tour begins at Noon and ends at 4:00pm.

Due to narrow entrances, maneuvering strollers or wheelchairs may be difficult. Rain or shine.

All proceeds benefit Caroling in Jackson Square presented by the Patio Planters of the Vieux Carré.

Patio Planters of the Vieux Carré is a volunteer organization based in New Orleans. We are dedicated to the preservation and beautification of New Orleans’ historic French Quarter.

Since 1946, the Patio Planters organization has sponsored Caroling in Jackson Square, a truly moving holiday tradition. This event, held every year by candlelight on the Sunday before Christmas, is always free and open to the public.

Patio Planters also makes annual contributions to various courtyards and gardens to support the preservation and beautification of the French Quarter. Donations and free events are made possible thanks to public support of Patio Planters’ annual fund-raising events such as Secret Gardens of the Vieux Carré , White Elephant Sale & Auction, and the Holiday Home Tour.
