French Macaron Class

Madame Macaron MKE began when a local caterer asked Toren Engseth, a long time baker, to provide technically and ever challenging French macarons. After glowing reviews, Toren saw an opportunity; gluten-free French macarons had become fiercely popular around the country yet excellent ones were difficult to find in Milwaukee. Toren began perfecting her method of making macarons. She perfected large-scale production techniques, and started selling her own macarons to caterers, restaurants and at local farmers markets and special events. Due to public enthusiasm and interest, she began providing macaron baking parties and classes.

Toren Engseth

Typical small group classes are entirely hands on as we go through each step and technique. Everyone goes home with their own batch of fresh French macarons and a fabulous recipe for the home baker. Classes usually run about three hours, with a brief interlude during baking and cooling which presents a perfect time for a light refreshment if you care to bring something along. 
Children, adults and groups enjoy this transformative creative process.
