FreeSkool: Basic Auto Maintenance

Get familiar with your vehicle and feel less intimidated to DIY minor maintenance to prevent major problems.

In this workshop, Nathan will be demonstrating basic preventative care, maintenance, and repairs for general vehicle upkeep. Topics covered will include:

• Checking and adding fluids
• Proper ways to jack your vehicle
• How to check your brakes and tires
• Changing a tire
• Standard oil and filter change*

This class will take place under our outdoor Pavilion so please dress for the weather and for the possibility of getting dirty/greasy if you want to be hands-on.

*We will save the oil change for the very end of class for anyone that wants to stick around.

Class is FREE, but limited to 12 participants so please register. Recommended for 13 and older. If you have registered and can no longer attend, PLEASE CANCEL your registration so that someone else may take your place.

About Nathan:
Nathan is HomeGrown's jack-of-all-trades. He takes care of all the repairs and maintenance of the cars, trucks, boat, mower, tractor, and side-by-side plus most plumbing and electrical issues that inevitably occur on a working farm. He's also our in-house Captain for our pontoon charters on the Kentucky River and is the FatherClucker to all our farm birds.
