Come dressed to impress or keep it casual - the choice is yours. To keep costs down, the reception and dinner is BYOB, so bring what you'd like to drink and get ready for some great BBQ!

FRIDAY BASEBALL GAME - Is Optional and requires separate tickets (see below)

The optional event planned for Friday is a game at Dow Diamond in Midland to see the Great Lakes Loons (a High A affiliate of the LA Dodgers) take on the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers at 7:00PM. Tickets are regularly $17.50, but for FHS 1974 Reunion attendees tickets are only $12.50 and a block of seats has been reserved! Tickets must be purchased in advance by August 17th using a separate link below. THIS LINK WILL TAKE YOU AWAY FROM THE TICKETS FOR SATURDAY SO PURCHASE THEM FIRST AND RETURN TO THIS PAGE. Purchasing tickets for the event on Saturday does not include any tickets for the Friday baseball game. Food and drink at the game are on your own. This is a fun way to kick off the weekend and we hope many alumni will want to attend.

SATURDAY REUNION RECEPTION AND DINNER

The reunion gathering is on Saturday, August 24, 2024 at the Freeland Sports Zone located at 5690 Midland Road, Freeland, Michigan 48623, from 2:00PM until 8:00PM. The full schedule is below.

In an effort to keep costs down, the Saturday event will be BYOB (so plan on bringing your cooler!). Bottled water and ice will be provided. There will be catered food featuring your choice of delicious BBQ and side dishes.

The room at the SportsZone is big enough to allow everyone to mingle and visit. And, did you know? The Miller Empey collection of birds that used to weird us all out when we were kids has been reinstalled as the Miller Empey Learning Zone at the facility. You'll want to be sure and take a few moments to visit that exhibition.

SUNDAY GOLF AND/OR DINNER

There were not enough responses to create an organized outing at Beach Hollow on Sunday...but doesn't mean you still can't make a day of it!

Beach Hollow is located at 7494 Hospital Rd, Freeland, MI 48623 and their phone number is (989) 695-5427. Call ahead to arrange a tee time; the cost is $24 for 9 holes or $37 for 18 holes. Dinner arrangements are on your own at the place of your choosing.

Beach Hollow can arrange tee times close to each other for a small group, so talk with the other golfers on Friday or Saturday and if you have a group...call them up and arrange to golf together!
