<H2>Festiv<STRONG>al Activities </STRONG></H2>
<H3><STRONG>2:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m.: Wristband Activities for 29 June 2019 </STRONG></H3>
<UL>
<LI><STRONG>$5/person</STRONG> (ages 4+) for an activity wristband: Early Bird registration opens May 01, 2019 and closes at 12:00 p.m. on June 27, 2019.  You may also register at any of the 4 fitness centers on post.  </LI>
<LI>Same day purchase is 2:00 p.m. -8:00 pm (No same tickets will be sold after 8:00 p.m.)</LI>
<LI>Activity wristband gains access to rock wall, bounce house, gold mining, face painting and dunk tanks.</LI>
<LI>No refunds, returns or exchanges.</LI>
<LI>Parents/guardians accompanying kids ages 3 and under must purchase a wristband. </LI>
<LI>Activity Wristband is <STRONG>ONLY</STRONG> good for MWR activities on <STRONG>29 June 2019</STRONG> and <STRONG>DOES NOT</STRONG> include run registration, volleyball tournament registration, basketball tournament registration, carnival rides or midway games. A waiver is required for participation.</LI>

<H3><STRONG>3:00 p.m.-7:30 p.m.: Single Elimination 4 on 4 Volleyball Tournament</STRONG></H3>

<LI>Tournament occurs at the Iron Horse Park Sand Volleyball Pit</LI>
<LI><STRONG>$20/team</STRONG>, Early Bird registration opens May 01, 2019 and closes at 12:00 p.m. on June 27, 2019.  You may also register at any of the 4 fitness centers on post.  <BR></LI>
<LI>Same day/tournament day registration is from 2:00 p.m.-2:30 p.m. (No registration will be sold after 2:30 p.m.) <STRONG>$30/team 18+</STRONG></LI>
<LI>Co-ed, Max 6 people per team, 18+ </LI>
<LI>Matches will be officiated</LI>
<LI>The winning team will receive a trophy</LI>

<H3><STRONG>8:00 p.m.: Glow Run</STRONG></H3>
<UL>
<LI>Mountain Post Living Run Challenge- The Glow run will be the first of a three part fun run series.  The second will be during our fall festival to be held October 5, 2019 and the third will be during our winter festival being held on December 7, 2019. </LI>
<LI>Glow run starts at 8:00 p.m.<BR></LI>
<LI>Glow run is approximately 3.1 miles.</LI>
<LI>Run is not timed.</LI>
<LI>Run is not competitive.  </LI>
<LI><STRONG>$15/person</STRONG> (ages 4+) Early Bird <STRONG></STRONG>registration opens May 01, 2019 and closes at 12 p.m. on June 27, 2019. You may also register for the run at any of the 4 fitness centers on post.  <BR></LI>
<LI>Same day/race day registration is 6:00 p.m.-8:10 p.m. (No registration will be sold after 8:10 pm) <STRONG>$20/person ages</STRONG> <STRONG>4+</STRONG></LI>
<LI><STRONG>Due to the safety of our patrons, no one will be allowed to enter the run course after 8:10 p.m.</STRONG></LI>
<LI><STRONG>T-shirt included with paid registration only</STRONG>  (Register by June 10, 2019 to guarantee a T-shirt)</LI>
<LI><STRONG>MPL particitpation run series medal -1st piece included with paid registration only</STRONG> (Register by June 10, 2019 to guarantee a MPL Particpation run series medal)  Register for the fall and winter run to receive the 2nd and 3rd pieces.  </LI>
<LI>Little Kid registration is FREE! (no t-shirt or medal included), limit 4 per transaction.  Please choose option from the <STRONG>'Additional Items'</STRONG> menu. </LI>
<LI>No pets allowed</LI>
<LI>The race route is on asphalt and dirt terrain.</LI>
<LI>Strollers are allowed.</LI>
<LI>Please observe fun run courtesy. Runners to the left, walkers/strollers to the right.</LI>
<LI>No minimum age. Individual waivers are required for participation. All minors ages 13-17 years must have a parent signature. All minors 12 years and under must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times. </LI>
<LI>Waiver required for participation</LI>
<LI>We reccommend arriving early for parking.</LI>

<LI>Non-DoD ID cardholders are welcome to attend the event.  Gates will open 1:30 p.m. and Non-DoD ID card holders will need to enter through Gates 1 and 20.  No need to stop by the visitor's center.  </LI>
<LI>No refunds issued due to late arrival or if access to Fort Carson is denied</LI>
<LI>All personnel entering Fort Carson must be in possession of a valid state or federally issued photo ID from a REAL ID Act compliant state. Current states not in compliance are: Alaska, Kentucky, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Virginia & Washington. (<A HREF="http://carsonfreedomfest.com/fort-carson-real-id-act-requirements/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Update to the REAL ID Act</A> effective June 1, 2017)</LI>

<LI>Event goes on regardless of weather</LI>
<LI>Those attending the event assume the risk of injury as a result of inclement weather</LI>
<LI>In the event of lighting, a warning is issued and guest are asked to clear the area and/or return to their cars until an "all clear" announcement is issued </LI>

<H3><STRONG>Parking:</STRONG></H3>
<UL>
<LI>No parking in residential/base housing/neighborhoods on Fort Carson.</LI>
<LI>Parking is free, space is available on a first come, first served basis.</LI>
<LI>All personnel must park in designated parking areas.</LI>
<LI>Parking in prohibited areas will result in a citation and the vehicle being towed.</LI>
<LI>Please follow the signs for designated parking areas.</LI>
</UL>
<H3><STRONG>Physical Security/Other:</STRONG></H3>
<UL>
<LI>Absolutely no personal grills or burners allowed at Freedom Fest.</LI>
<LI>Lost children are accompanied by event staff to the main stage and an announcement is made via the speakerphone to make contact with the parent(s)/guardian(s)</LI>
<LI>100% random personal property inspection in effect.</LI>
<LI>No personal fireworks or sparklers allowed on Fort Carson. These items are prohibited per <A HREF="http://carsonfreedomfest.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/06/DocumentsDefault-LibraryFC-REG-210-18-Prohibited-and-Regulated-Conduct.pdf" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">FC Regulation 210-2-8.</A></LI>
<LI>No firearms and/or weapons allowed.</LI>
<LI>Privately owned drones/UAV's are not allowed.</LI>
<LI>No coolers or tents allowed in the festival area. Coolers and tents are allowed in designated picnic areas only.</LI>
<LI>No glass containers allowed.</LI>
<LI>Alcohol in private containers is not allowed. Alcohol may be purchased from vendors located in the festival area</LI>

<H3><STRONG>Pets/Companion Animals vs. Service Animals</STRONG></H3>
<UL>
<LI>No pets or companion animals allowed.</LI>
<LI>Only<A HREF="https://www.denvergov.org/content/dam/denvergov/Portals/643/documents/Offices/Disability/Tri-Fold%20ADA%20Brochure%20FINAL%20PDF.pdf" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer"> ADA service animals</A> are allowed onsite.</LI>
<LI>Companion Animals are not protected under the ADA.</LI>
<LI>Under <A HREF="https://leg.colorado.gov/bills/hb16-1426" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Colorado state law HB16-1426</A> (effective January 2017), it is a crime to knowingly misrepresent an animal as a service animal.</LI>

<H3><STRONG>Traffic:</STRONG></H3>

<LI>Please observe posted speed limits.</LI>
<LI>The area around the festival venue will become congested, please slow down and watch out for pedestrians.</LI>
