Our friends from City Fruit will be teaching a free winter fruit tree pruning class. Get hands on practice and guidance!

<p>      Winter pruning is an important part of fruit tree maintenance! Come learn how to take care of your fruit trees from the experts at City Fruit. We will see how, where, why, and when to prune certain trees and then have a chance to practice in the Shark Garden orchard. Now, in winter, we will be looking primarily at apples, pears, and figs. </p><p>      We  will provide expert guidance and the tools of the trade for practice. You can bring  sturdy shoes, garden gloves, your favorite pruners (if you have them), and weather appropriate clothing. We will be out in the orchard during the whole class and please note that we will not have a bathroom available onsite for this event.</p>
