About this event

At the Art & History Museums Maitland, kids can stay creative and artistically engaged all summer long on our beautiful and historic campus, just 15 minutes from downtown Orlando! During these FREE hands-on arts and crafts workshops, families can drop-in and create a new art project every week at their own pace.

On July 24, we're having an extra fun art workshop for kids who love all things tiny! We’ll be creating mini bug dioramas right in a mint tin! We’ll have books of insects to inspire the drawing of your own bug, and all kinds of mixed-media collage materials to make your little bug a tiny home!

After the workshop, you can extend your outing by bringing a bagged lunch and picnicking next door at Quinn Strong Park.

Summer Family Workshops at A&H are brought to you free of charge and sponsored by AdventHealth. Space and supplies are limited (one mini bug house per child), so reserve a spot for your family today!
