Young Feminists and Allies (YFA) is theNational Organization for Women's (NOW)inaugural virtual chapter. We have intergenerational and intersectional members from Arizona to New York with a diverse set of backgrounds and beliefs.NOW is theONLY membership-led, completely democratic, national, multi-issue feminist organization in the U.S. As the grassroots arm of the women's rights movement, NOW members decide on everything from who the officers are to the issues the organization will focus on.There are hundreds of great organizations working on gender equality in the U.S., but no other organization is completely democratic, which allows underrepresented groups--like women of color, immigrant women, and young women--to run for and win leadership positions.

Please join our Treasurer Rachel Piazza for a free self-defense workshop. She will teach feminist self-defense, which is quite different than traditional forms. A huge thanks to the New York City Parks Department for hosting us in the space. They hosted another workshop last month, for International Women's Day.
