About this event

  • Event lasts 1 hour 30 minutes

Indie Lens Pop-Up, presented by ITVS, INDEPENDENT LENS, Ferndale Library and KEET PBS, invites you to a free community event featuring a special preview screening of Free for All: The Public Library.

Free for All: The Public Library tells the inspiring story of the quiet revolutionaries — many of them women — who built a civic institution where everything is free and open to all. The film traces the history of America's public libraries and the battles over access, resources, and democracy itself, while celebrating the essential role libraries play in every community, big and small.
