About this event

Join us for a Free Meditation Class and experience the calm that simply your breath can provide! This in-person event is held every Thursday at 8:00 PM (PDT). Please arrive 10 minutes early as we begin promptly at 8! The class takes place at 11512 Santa Monica Boulevard, Los Angeles, CA 90025.

Our Free Meditation class begins with a talk from our Sifu (Sifu means teacher in Chinese) or one of our senior students. They talk about something related to Meditation, Mindfulness, or Martial Arts. We post the topic of the week on social media.

We then meditate together on our comfortable mats and cushions. Our calmly lit dojo and the gentle sound of our water fountain provides a quiet and relaxing space.

Frequently asked questions

What do I wear?

Please dress comfortably and appropriately. For example, pants and a sweatshirt. You may be sitting for awhile, so please dress accordingly.

What do we sit on?

We have standard Zafu meditation cushions filled with buckwheat available for your convenience. We also have a few, more firm seat options available

Is this a silent meditation?

Yes! We ask that participants keep noise disruptions to a minimum in order to keep a quiet and peaceful environment. However, we understand that sometimes things like sneezes are unavoidable!
