What makes the School of Martial Arts West LA stand out from other fitness and martial arts disciplines is its breadth of philosophy in both physical and mental wellness. Relying on a foundation of Tai Chi, Kung Fu and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, our dojo puts a focus on self defense training, bodily health and meditation so that students stay well-conditioned and mentally at ease. With a curriculum based on ancient Chinese martial arts dating back hundreds of years, our classes offer an academic flavor that you won’t find in other fitness styles such as Crossfit and Krav Maga
