About this event

  • 2 hours 30 minutes

This training is funded by grants obtained by the Indiana Center for Prevention of Youth Abuse and Suicide and these funds are specific to Indiana residents. Therefore we ask that people who live outside of Indiana check Darkness to Light's website (D2L.org) to find a training in their area.

Stewards of Children® is a child sexual abuse prevention program developed by the national organization Darkness to Light. This program educates adults to prevent, recognize and react appropriately to child sexual abuse. This training program is designed for parents and any adults who work with children or adolescents. Stewards of Children is the only nationally available program scientifically proven to increase knowledge, improve attitudes and change child-protective behaviors. Stewards of Children training meets Indiana state-mandated training requirements for school staff.

PLEASE NOTE: This is a hybrid training. You will be asked to indicate whether you would like to participate in-person or virtually when registering. Virtual participants will be sent a Zoom link approximately 1 week before the training.
