Improving Lives US is a nonprofit organization originating from the for-profit Community Mental Health Center, Improving Lives CMHC. It was founded by Alfredo Hernandez, who recognized a significant need for greater access to mental health services among his CMHC patients. With a mission to ensure mental health service coverage for everyone, Improving Lives US aims to make care accessible through services such as mental health coverage, targeted case management, transportation to mental health appointments, food assistance, and monthly workshops. <p>Join us Saturday, August 24, 2024 for a free DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy) for parents who want to enhance their relationships with their children. The training is from 10 am to 1 pm and snacks and refreshments will be included, as well as worksheets and questionares for parents to take notes and give feed back. You can park for free in our red parking garage, located next to Larkin hospital. Take the elevator up to the third floor. Call us if you have any questions.
