About this event

Come dance with us at the 30-Up Club - Toronto's favourite destination for Ballroom and Latin dancing for more than 75 years.

The club offers a 3,200 sq ft polished maple dance floor, excellent DJs, and a dance host for the single ladies.

On two Saturday evenings in May, we will start with a FREE dance lesson - from 6:45 to 7:30 pm - featuring Deb Riopelle teaching Syncopated-Hustle.

After the lesson, you can also pay admission to the club ($28) and stay at 7:30 pm to dance until midnight. Included in your paid admission is a light buffet dinner and a cash-bar for refreshments.

Most importantly you will be with lots of great people who share your love of dance.

Is the lesson FREE?

Yes, The lesson is FREE. However, if you want to stay for the evening of dance, you must pay the admission fees at 7:30 pm - either as a member of the club or at guest rates ($28).

Is parking free?

Yes, parking is free - on the 30-Up Club property (in front of the building or behind), on the street or in the Cineplex parking lot.

Are the lessons suitable for beginners?

Hustle is a fun party dance that is a great fit with upbeat popular music. This lesson will focus on learning how to perform Syncopated Hustle, which might be difficult for new dancers to learn. However if you know the basics of the Hustle dance, you will have the opportunity to learn new moves.

Who is Deb Riopelle?

Deb Riopelle is an avid ballroom dancer. She teaches many forms of dance at 30-Up Club dances and choreographs dance routines for couples for their special life events in her home studio. Deb is also a very creative artist.

Get ready to beyond the the basic 4-count and elevate your Hustle. Discover the rhythm of the syncopated-hustle! Deb Riopelle will start with the basics and guide you step by step at your pace.
