Come join us on Sat Jun 8 2024 at 10:00 AM for a hands-on workshop on how to start composting at home. This event will be held at 5370 Riverview Drive, Riverside, CA, USA.

Free Giveaways!

First 25 to RSVP will receive a free countertop compost bin! This RSVP guarantees one free compost bin per family and only one ticket per family is needed. You do not need a ticket to attend the workshop portion of this event, just to claim your compost bin! You will be asked to be scanned in at the end of the workshop discussion portion and then recieve your countertop compost bin after.

Frequently asked questions

Can I still show up without RSVP?

Yes. But unfortunately without RSVP you will not be guaranteed a free compost bin.

What should I wear?

This is an outdoor workshop. You will be under a canopy for shade for the talk portion of the presentation. Sunscreen, a hat, and sensible hiking/walking closed toe footwear are recommended.

Where do I park?

Upon entering LRPPG, there is a gravel lot to your immediate right. Please park there and walk down towards the canopy, taking the main dirt road straight ahead. Do not turn right on the dirt road, as that will lead you to Sunshine Haven Wildlife Rehabilitation.

Will water be provided?

There will a large water jug available. Please bring your own refillable water bottles.
