FRIENDSHIP BUDDIES is a free, weekly, stand-up comedy showcase every Sunday night on the outdoor patio at Verdugo Bar featuring the best comics Los Angeles has to offer in a unique, intimate, outdoor setting. Every week, see comics from Netflix, HBO, Comedy Central, MTV, Late Night TV, and more live and absolutely free!

Verdugo Bar features a stellar craft beer line-up of 20 taps in addition to a full bar with an extensive collection of spirits, a specialty house-infused cocktail menu, house-crafted cocktails on draft, and boozed-up slushies. In addition to free comedy and a great drink selection, the bar hosts karaoke after the comedy show and a great local food truck.

Good comedy. Good beer. Good food. Good friendship. The perfect way to spend a Sunday night.

Do I need tickets?

You do not. The show is free and you can show up to the Verdugo Bar patio and grab your seats in advance of the show's 8 pm start time. Reserving tickets will add you to our mailing list so you can find out more about upcoming shows, lineups, special events, and more!

Is the show an open mic?

It is not. The show is curated and booked with lineups featuring the best comedians in Los Angeles and beyond. Each week the show features a lineup of comics who have been featured on Netflix, Comedy Central, HBO, and Late Night TV plus up-and-coming favorites you'll soon know and love.

Is the show "sold out"?

No! We can only add 25 reserved spots via Eventbrite, but the patio at Verdugo Bar has plenty of room for you! Come out to the show Sunday night at 8 pm (3408 Verdugo Rd.) Reserve a ticket if you wish to sign up for our mailing list!
