  • Benefits (compensation, pension, education/training, Veterans Readiness & Employment (VR&E), life insurance, survivor benefits)
  • Link to Regional Office's to schedule in-person or virtual appointment through Visitor Engagement Reporting Application (VERA).

VA Medical Centers providing information on eligibility, enrollment, services provided, community outpatient clinics locations & services, beneficary travel from:

Los Angeles National Cemetery Administration providing information on:

  • Eligibility
  • Burial & funeral honors
  • Advance planning for Veteran memorial/funeral

VA Vet Center & the Vet Center Mobile Unit providing information on:

  • Individual and group counseling for Veterans, service members, and their families
  • Family counseling for military related issues
  • Bereavement counseling for families who experience an active duty death
  • Military sexual trauma counseling and referral
  • Outreach and education including PDHRA, community events, etc.
  • Substance abuse assessment and referral
  • Employment assessment & referral
  • VBA benefits explanation and referral
  • Screening & referral for medical issues including TBI, depression, etc.

  • Dept of Military & Veterans Affairs: assistance with filing or appealing VA claims/benefits, Veteran designator on state ID/Drivers License, Veterans Justice Outreach Programs, & more
  • Department of Mental Health's Veteran Peer Access Network (VPAN): provides assistance with accessing VA benefits, Mental health and substance misuse services, Compensation claims, Education fee waivers, legal and financial assistance, employment support, housing assistance, linkages to other services and resources offered by parterning agencies regardless of Veterans status of discharge

Frequently asked questions

Can a family member access their Veteran's information without the Veteran being present?

Unless the family member has a power of attorney or other documentation in their Veteran's file authorizing access, none of the agencies will be able to provide information to the family member.

Will this event be ADA Accessible?

Yes.

Can I bring my dog?

Service dogs which are specifically trained to help their handler are welcome. Unfortunately, emotional support animals & family pets are not allowed in the Armory for this event. Please leave them at home.
