Healthy Day Partners promotes community health by assisting schools, school districts and the greater community with environmental and wellness education programs.  These efforts include providing guidance on school gardens and farms, waste reduction best practices, composting efforts and resource conservation initiatives.

Have you always wanted to compost your food scraps but were scared you didn't have enough experience? Have you tried your hand at composting but still have not yet perfected the process? What's the difference between active and passive compost? And, what about those worms? Join Master Composter, Dave Emmerson, to learn the answers to these questions. Dave will take you beyond the basics so you can feel comfortable implementing a composting plan that's right for you in your own backyard. The following topics will be covered:
