If you are new to coding or preparing for our next cohort, this 2-week course will help you feel confident in pursuing learning how to code!

Hello and welcome to our 2-week prep course where we introduce you to the exciting world of web development hosted by Lubbock Coding Academy through South Plains College. Over the course of the next 2 weeks we will introduce you to the 3 main technologies of the internet:<ul><li>HTML</li><li>CSS</li><li>JavaScript</li></ul>Whether you came from our last Learn to Code event or are taking your first steps in coding, this next-level course is guided by an actual web developer who will be your instructor for the 2-week event! We will build a website on our very first day that you can share with friends and family. Let’s get to coding!***Before we go into more detail about the prep course, we want to be sure you are aware of the schedule. We hold classes twice a week for 2 weeks, on either Mon/Weds or Tues/Thurs nights from 6:30-9 PM CST.***Details on the schedule:If you book for a Monday prep course start, your classes will be Monday &amp; Wednesday nights from 6:30-9 PM for 2 weeks. If you choose a Tuesday start, they will be Tuesday &amp; Thursday nights for 2 weeks from 6:30-9 PM. We use HTML to build your perfect burger and we leverage the power of CSS to change the appearance and layout of your web pages.The end of the prep class is dedicated to making sure you are set up for success before starting the first official day of class. This means setting up our coding environment, downloading and installing any other online tools. We want you to feel prepared, excited, and confident as you start your coding journey with us.Whether you just came from our last Learn to Code event or are ready to take on the next level in learning to code - we cannot wait to meet you!
