Fourth Fest
Celebrate the ministries of Fourth Presbyterian in Southie and anticipate Burns's upcoming retirement! Live auction, live music, good food!
Dear Friends,
Fourth Fest is around the corner, which means it’s time to party for a good cause! We’ll gather at Southline (the former home of the Boston Globe) on Sunday, May 3, 2:30-5:30pm. Tom Tinlin will return to MC the live auction, Jon Hazilla is gathering Berklee faculty mates to play live music, and the kids will be sharing a sampling of our theater programs.
This year, we have a special focus: celebrating the final year of Rev. Burns Stanfield’s ministry as he plans to retire in December after a remarkable 35 years. There’s no better way to celebrate Burns than by supporting the ministries he’s shepherded: music and arts programs, a food pantry, post-traumatic healing recovery groups, advocacy with GBIO and South Boston neighbors, a hot meals distribution program, and our upcoming six-week summer camp with free music and arts programming. Your gifts make it all possible, and this year we’ll celebrate Burns’
ministry while laying the groundwork for this important work to continue to years to come.
Southline is close to the subway (JFK) and has plenty
of parking. Add to that some live Jazz, delicious food, performing kids, an auction (with tickets to SNL, the Tonight Show, Patriots, Celtics, and
more) and you’ve got plenty of reasons to come celebrate with us!
With gratitude for your prayers and support,
The Fourth Fest Team
