Our name was inspired by the creative, East Dallas neighborhood of Lakewood where it all started in our owner's garage, and we've quickly grown into one of the largest breweries in North Texas. 4 AMAZING YEARS! We can't believe how quickly the time has flown by. There's no better way to celebrate this milestone than by drinking some damn fine beers with all of you fine folks who have supported us along the way.
In honor of this occasion, we're throwing an epic party at the brewery on Saturday, July 30, and we've compiled a list of vintage favorites, rarities, and experimental one-offs that have never seen the light of day. Basically, you're gonna want to join us or risk hearing about it from your friends later on.
However if you do miss out, you're still in luck as we're once again throwing down with our friends at Goodfriend Beer Garden & Burger House the very next day, Sunday, July 31, with a lot of awesome tappings and fun throughout the day.
For Saturday's party at the brewery, we're featuring both VIP (sold out) and General Admission tickets. General admission will feature staggered entry times. This should alleviate long lines and a crush of people all at once, so that everyone has a chance to try different beers. This year we're also introducing tasting cards, featuring six 5oz. pours. Additional tasting cards may be purchased on site for $10/ea. Our friends from Printed Threads will also be on site printing and selling commemorative 4th anniversary t-shirts for those looking to take home some swag. Live music, food trucks, a photo booth, games, and more will also be featured throughout the day.
VIP entry is at 12:00 noon and admission includes entry one hour before GA, souvenir glass, tasting card for six 5oz pours of beer, commemorative 4th anniversary t-shirt from Printed Threads, one food ticket from the Tamale Company, access to limited and rare offerings, and access to the VIP area in the Founders taproom and private patio. Tickets are limited to just 200.
General Admission tickets include a souvenir glass, tasting card for six 5oz pours of beer, and access to the brewery and beer garden. Entry times will be at 1:00, 2:00, and 4:00. If you're interested in trying the more rare releases and limited offerings, we highly suggest getting the earliest admission time available. Some of these offerings will run out sooner than others, so the earlier you're here the better. We CAN NOT guarantee every ticket holder will get to try everything listed, but we will do our best to spread as much of the love around.
**As a gesture of our continuing dedication to support our first responders, we’re proudly announcing that 100% of the 4:00pm admission sales will be donated to the Guns & Hoses Foundation of North Texas.
Starting at 6pm, we'll open up to the general public, and beers can be purchased by the glass. VIP and GA ticket holders from throughout the day can still purchase additional tasting cards however. We do reserve the right to refuse service to those we feel have imbibed a little too much. We want to make sure everyone has stays safe and has a good time.

FAQs
 
What is the parking situation like?
We're located in an industrial part of Garland, and have access to a lot of parking lots around the brewery, as well as street parking all up and down Executive and Express. Please DO NOT park in the Iglesia Casa de Dios church as they do use that during the day. Mail is still delivered on Saturdays as well, so please do not block any mailboxes. Also, please respect our neighbors' property. We highly encourage ride sharing out here, such as a taxi, Uber, Lyft, your mom or dad....you get the idea.
 
Are there ID requirements to enter the event?
Yes, please make sure you bring your ID with you at check-in. You will need to show your ID upon entry if you want to drink.
 
Are children allowed?
Yes, children are allowed. Anyone under the age of 18 does not have to purchase a ticket. However, please be aware that this event will be very crowded so if you do bring children, please keep an eye on them and keep them wrangled as much as possible.
 
Do I need to bring my ticket with me?
Yes, please bring a print out or digital copy of your ticket with you for check-in if at all possible. We will have a master list of all ticket holders to compare to, but it helps if you already that in hand.
 
Are tickets refundable?
No, all purchases are final. If you need to sell your ticket to another party, just make sure that the ticket holder has the name of the original purchaser as that name is what we go by.
 
Can I buy more beer sampling tickets?
Absolutey! Additional sampling cards will be sold at various locations around the brewery, and cost $10/ea (cash only.)
 
Can I combine two 5oz samples for one full pour of beer?
Yes, but only on certain beers. Some of the more limited, rare offerings will only be 5oz samples at a time.
 
Will you have all of the beers the entire day?
Depends on which beers. Many of these are limited offerings, so once they're gone they're gone. If there's a particular beer you want to try, your best bet is to get here as early as possible to ensure you get to try it.
 
Do I need a ticket for Sunday's celebration at Goodfriend?
No. Entry is free to the public at Goodfriend on Sunday, July 31, and there's no cover. Just bring your drinking pants and that stellar smile.
