About this event

Learn Printmaking! Laura teaches you step by step during this 4 week workshop how to create an original pet portrait print. Join us on Sundays in May from 3:30pm-5:30pm!

Week one starting on May 5th you will learn the basics of printmaking and how to draw your pets portrait. You will need to bring in a printed photo of your pet no bigger than 3"x4". Pet photo must be clear and front facing with no other animals in the picture.

Week two on May 12th you will be able to finish your drawing of your pet portrait and transfer drawing to the lino block.

Week three on May 19th you will be able to finish carving your lino block and learn how to ink and print properly.

Week four on May 26th you will be able to do test prints as well as your final 6 prints.

This workshop is great for beginner or experienced artists alike. You will be able to make multiple prints during this class. All supplies are included in ticket price.

Again, You will need to bring in a printed photo of your pet no bigger than 3"x4". Pet photo must be clear and front facing with no other animals in the picture.

Printmaking classes waiver notice

You will be working with sharp tools during this class. There will be waiver forms for you to fill out at the front desk when you check in for the class. We provide protective gloves but feel free to bring your own gardening gloves or any other protective wear for your hands.

Please Arrive 15- 20 minutes early to find parking, grab an apron, and settle into your seat.

All ticket holders must be 18+ years. You may bring outside food or drink but it is at our discretion. No drinks without lids. A class must have 10 people signed up otherwise classes can warrant a cancellation by RemainReal. In the event of a cancellation, RemainReal will be in contact with signed up students before the scheduled time. Refunds for a class will only be given in the event of a cancellation by our team and only our team. Credits will be given to be used towards future classes only in the event of a student cancellation that is no more than 4 hours before the scheduled time of the class. Credits will not be issued for No Shows or student cancellations past the required 4 hour notice.

Is there parking?

There is no designated parking only city street parking so we recommend you come early.

Do you I have to bring any supplies?

Leave everything at home, all supplies are included with your ticket price!

Do you need to have art experience to attend a class?

All skill levels are welcome in our classes.
