Take a step into the different types of acting involved in an immersive performance. Define similarities between immersive works, channel different types of sensory experiences into a performance, and learn the fundamentals of how to create an immersive environment.
Immersive Improv Techniques
Within the greater acting community, there are a series of guidelines an actor can follow within an improv performance to gain a specific result. When improvisation stretches beyond the stage as it does in immersive theater, there are now different tools and techniques an actor can use that allows the audience to feel as if they control the narrative as well.
Keys to Building an Immersive World
Performing and witnessing immersive theater can be a very personal and emotionally vulnerable experience. Train and elevate your instincts when connecting with your audience, allowing you to create a result you can anticipate. Learn how to create your desired effect on the participants in real-time and how to manipulate that experience within each given audience.
