Local.foundation put this event together to bring you one step closer to your dream, to motivate you to jump out of bed each morning to work on your idea.
We have selected our speakers from successful local businesses from a variety of trades: Hospitality, Sustainability, Community, Business to Business:
Nani Denardin, from The Price Albert Backpackers & Bar, will tell us about her winded road to Nelson and how she set out to create the best Backpackers in New Zealand.
We have Sacha MacDonald of Rezource, Arewa, Meke Events and Startup School fame who will be talking about her lessons learned from starting companies and helping others getting better at it.
From The Green Collective, we have Emma Saunders, talking about her journey of transforming items we use every day to something way more sustainable.
Paul Hampton will tell us how Victory Boxing has a positive impact on our community and what inspired him to get it started.
We also have Leon Jay as our keynote speaker, telling us about how sustainability as a core value in companies can be a competitive edge over a more traditional competition.
