Derby Entrepreneurship Center at Tufts

The October 19th-20th Founders' Workshop, The Fundamentals of Startups, will be kicked off by Bill Cummings, a Tufts alum, serial entrepreneur, Founder of Cummings Properties, leading philanthropist, and author of Starting Small and Making It Big: An Entrepreneur's Journey to Billion-Dollar Philanthropist. Complimentary books will be provided at event.

Bill Cummings never aspired to be a billionaire and never acknowledged he was one until long after it happened. That's because it is not the money that motivates him, but rather the immense enjoyment he gets from building and growing successful businesses.

Saturday, October 20, 2018; 9:00am to 2:00pm - Light breakfast & Lunch will be provided!  
LOCATION: Tufts University, the Collaborative Learning and Innovation Complex (CLIC), 574 Boston Ave., 4th Floor Medford, MA 02155

1:15pm to 1:30pm - Beth McCarthy outlines Theme of the Day
1:30pm to 2:30pm - Frank Apeseche presents Business Plans
2:30pm to 3:30pm - Gavin Finn presents Markets and Marketing 
3:30pm to 4:30pm - Frank Rimalovski presents Customers and Discoveries
4:30pm to 5:00pm - Entrepreneur Roundtable with Tufts Alums
