The Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) is quickly becoming an industry standard framework for applying Agile at scale in large enterprises. This SAFe 4.0 presentation will provide a high-level view of the latest features in the SAFe, including the new Foundation layer, Value Stream, Program and Team level changes, including backwards compatibility with 3-Level SAFe 3.0, support for large Value Streams with 4-Level SAFe 4.0, as well as how to manage large Portfolios. The presenter will be Daryl Winters, Vice President of Portfolio Management, from Intermedix (Nashville, TN). Mr. Winters has over 30 years of experience in guiding and transforming large-scale organizations in the application of advanced software engineering techniques such as those contained in SAFe. Previously, he helped to rollout SAFe at a large, multi-national heathcare firm. Currently, he is providing training and guidance in the application of Scaled Agile and Portfolio Management techniques at Intermedix.
