Why are compensation issues important?
Compensation issues encompass managing the largest budget expense, ensuring fair pay expectations, maintaining transparency, fostering a positive employer reputation, mitigating wage and hour claims, and preventing non-compliance that can lead to unionization.

Additionally, compensation should be in alignment with an organizational's values, and it is crucial to achieve equity within your nonprofit.
