Foundations for Human-Centered Change

Online event
Thursday, July 16  •  10 AM - 12 PM PDT
Overview

Learn a more effective approach for change — one that improves business results while also improving the human experience of work.

When change is grounded in real human needs and everyday realities, it’s more likely to be understood, embraced, and sustained over time.

Foundations for Human-Centered Change

In this hands-on session, participants will explore what human-centered change means, why it matters, and how it differs from traditional change management approaches. Through discussion and practical activities, participants will develop a mindset and shared understanding for approaching change in more effective, people-oriented ways.

The session also explores where tools like AI can responsibly support human-centered change — helping teams explore options, synthesize inputs, or test ideas more quickly, while keeping people and judgment at the center.

This course emphasizes getting started over getting it perfect. Participants will work with a simple framework for thinking and talking differently about change — helping them feel more confident, optimistic, and ready to try a new approach in their own work. The session also provides a preview of concepts and methods explored more deeply in other courses in the Human-Centered Change Series.
