Overview

Explore the foundations of computer science and data science through computation thinking practices. Try on plugged and unplugged activities

In an increasingly data-fied and AI driven world, support your students to think like a computer to build their own literacy and technology skills. This session will explore plugged and unplugged activities that will help your students build critical computational thinking skills for the AI powered future.

Join us on February 21st at 8:30 am to try on plugged and unplugged activities that can be integrated into science, math, and humanities classes that support students develop computational thinking skills. Activities will highlight how computational thinking is used to analyze large sets of data, train machine learning models, and power cutting-edge AI innovations. Participants will have opportunities to imagine how computational thinking can be integrated into their everyday teaching.

Educators will be able to explore the wealth of resources available on the Tech Interactive’s website for teaching computer science, data science, and AI.
