About this event
This inspiring 4-session course presents an effective lesson sequence and simple and profound practices to either begin or fine-tune SEL. All sessions are interactive, engaging and practical. The sessions share practical resources and ideas that are the foundation of SEL for grades K-6.
Foundational SEL skills, taught with intention, are more important than ever in our school settings, classrooms, and parenting groups. Young learners need skills and vocabulary to develop self and social awareness and to engage in deep and meaningful education. Never before has the focus on relationships and belonging been so important.
The framework that will be presented aligns with CASEL's framework and provides a common language to build emotional intelligence, positive communication, restorative practices in ourselves and with our students.
