About the Presentations
Geogrid Raft Foundations: 
The use of geogrids to create a firm, unyielding working surface for construction of roads over soft subgrades is well stablished. However, geogrids can increase bearing capacity and reduce the potential for differential settlement below structures. This presentation will: Present new research confirming the “T-Value” method for bearing capacity design, Introduce Tensar’s Stratum System for building foundations, and provide an example of how the systems can be applied to seismic designDiscuss how to model geogrids using Finite Element Methods
Rammed Aggregate Piers:
Geopier provides ground improvement alternatives to save on project budget and schedule. Geopier has routinely been used for liquefaction mitigation. Also consider using Geopier technologies if your project involves:
