About this event

These online group sessions take approximately one hour, with time for questions at the end. There is no expectation that you will become a foster parent if you attend.

Session dates:

Information Sessions are held via Microsoft Teams. Participants will attend one 1 hour session. Information Session dates are offered at the following times:

- The second Wednesday of each month at 6:00pm

- The fourth Thursday of each month at 12:00pm (Noon)

Registration:

Each individual is asked to register separately, even if two people will be sitting together at the same screen.

A link to join the meeting will be sent along with confirmation of your registration.

If you have trouble registering, please reach out to us at fostercare@waukeshacounty.gov

Interested in becoming a foster parent?

If you are looking to become a foster parent, attending one of these sessions is a requirement for that process. If you are a two-parent household, both parents must attend. You may attend by sitting together at one screen, however we still ask that you register as individuals for our tracking purposes.

Following the presentation, interested parties will be able to request an an application packet to begin the foster care licensing process.
