RI Elder Info is a 501c3 nonprofit. Our mission is to empower people throughout the aging journey by providing easy one-stop access to a comprehensive suite of information and resources.We are a silo-crossing aging resource that provides over 100 pages of easy to navigate online resources from the federal and state level down to the 39 cities and towns. Based on the World Health Organizations eight domains to age in community, RIElderInfo.com provides information on health and support, housing, transportation, legal and financial considerations, government agencies, advocacy and activities and events for seniors, caregivers and the professionals who serve them. We act both online and in-community, providing information sessions in libraries, community centers, senior centers, and to any organization that asks.Since its launch in October 2018, RIElderInfo.com has won multiple awards including being named  “50 on Fire” by Rhode Island Inno and one of the “Most Innovative Companies” byProvidence Business News.

<h1>Join us for an unforgettable evening of theater and community engagement as we present &quot;Forget Me Not,&quot; a recording of the powerful and poignant play that delves into the African American experience of caring for a loved one with dementia. </h1><p>5:00p – 5:30p: Light refreshments, resources, networking </p><p>5:30p – 7:45p: Screening of Forget Me Not play </p><p>7:45p – 8:15p: Panel discussion </p><p>8:15p – 8:30p: Closing remarks</p><p>This exceptional event will take place at St. Martin de Porres Senior Center at 160 Cranston St, Providence, RI 02907 on Thursday,  July 13th 5-8:30pm.</p><p>&quot;Forget Me Not&quot; is a moving theatrical production that intimately explores the challenges, joys, and heartaches faced by African American families dealing with the complexities of dementia. Through captivating storytelling, talented actors will transport you into the lives of individuals grappling with the delicate balance of caregiving, preserving identity, and maintaining love and compassion in the face of this formidable disease.</p><p></p><p>Following the play, we have organized a question and answer period featuring a distinguished panel of local experts.
