This Starter Troop is targeted for families in the Forestville Area , but all are welcome. This is intended for youth currently in PreK/TK (or eligible for kindergarten in Fall 2024) through 5th grade!

We can’t wait to meet you and your youth at our event! Staff/Volunteers from Girl Scouts of Northern California will be available to answer any questions you may have about Girl Scouts and getting involved. In addition, your youth will have an opportunity to try out some Girl Scout activities.

This free event is intended for youth who are not yet members of Girl Scouts but would like to get started on their journey. Please register in advance so we can alert you should we have to shift due to weather or illness, etc. This will also ensure we have enough materials on hand for all youth attending!

There are two additional meeting dates being held at Ives Park May 8th and May 15th 4:30-5:30pm you are also welcome to attend. RSVP for Ives Park at: https://tinyurl.com/TryoutGirlScoutsSebastopol

Can’t make it? Please contact Deanna Lockhart dlockhart@gsnorcal.org to ensure you will be included in future opportunities.

An adult must be present during the meetings and adults will help during the meetings and monitor youths' participation.

Please contact dlockhart@gsnorcal.org with questions.

Girl Scouts create the world they want to live in and strive to make it better every single day. They explore their strengths, take on new challenges, and can always be themselves, regardless of background or ability.

Supported by adult volunteers and mentors right here in our community, as well as millions of alums around the globe, Girl Scouts lead the way as they discover who they are and how they can make the future a brighter place.
