ForestSAT 2026 brings together leading experts in application of remote sensing, geospatial technologies, & AI in forestry for an engaging week of presentations, workshops, and networking opportunities. ForestSAT Registation Information:

  • Early Bird Registration: on or before March 5, 2026
  • On-Time Registration: March 6 – April 20, 2026
  • Late Registration: after April 20, 2026 (starts April 21, 2026)
  • Presenters must be registered by March 31, 2026 to confirm participation and ensure inclusion of their oral or poster presentation in the conference program.

Registration Categories

  • Regular: Faculty, professionals, researchers, and postdoctoral scholars
  • Student: Undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral (PhD) students
  • In-Person: Participants attending the conference on site in Gainesville, Florida. This includes 5 days of on-site programming at the University of Florida: workshops, keynote speakers, concurrent sessions, networking, and more. Light breakfast, full lunch, morning and afternoon refreshements, Ice-breaker social & Poster reception with food and beverages is also included. All in-person participants will have access to online conference platform and recorded materials. Tickets for the Wednesday dinner and for guests to join social events are available as optional add-ons.
  • Virtual: Participants attending remotely via the online conference platform. - Includes access to all live-streamed (synchronous) and recorded (asynchronous) content.

Cancellation Policy

  • On or before March 23 (30 business days before): 100% refund (minus transaction fees)
  • On or before April 13 (15 business days before): 50% refund (minus transaction fees) or conversion to virtual registration + refund of remaining balance
  • After April 13: no refund + conversion to virtual registration

Workshops

The workshops will take place on May 4th, 2026, at the conference venue at UF, offering a diverse range of topics and training opportunities. More details about the workshops are available here:

Register for workshops as an add-on to your conference registration. Be sure to only chose one morning and one afternoon workshop.

Each workshop provides hands-on training and practical learning experiences focused on the latest tools, technologies, and methodologies in forestry and remote sensing. Designed and led by experts from around the world, these workshops aim to equip participants with actionable skills and insights that can be directly applied to their research and professional work.

The ForestSAT field trip to the Austin Cary Forest will provide participants with a hands-on learning experience through a series of interactive stations highlighting key aspects of southern forest ecosystems and management.
