About the walk: Learn how to “read” the forested landscape with environmental archaeologist, Dr. Naomi Riddiford, on a slow-paced nature walk at Quarter Mile Pond in Medford, MA. We will search for clues to past events that have influenced the landscape around us, spanning the last Ice Age to the most recent winter storms. We will also consider natural history and people’s role in environmental change.
Meet in the Flynn Rink parking lot (300 Elm St., Medford).
This is an outdoor program. Please dress for the conditions.

This program will happen on Monday, May 11th (Rain date: Wednesday, May 13th) and Friday, May 22nd (Rain date: Thursday, May 28th). The program will run from 9:15 AM to 11:30 AM on each date. Please register for just one of these dates.
**Please do not register unless you can absolutely attend this walk. We often have waitlists and would like as many folks as possible to be able to attend.**
