Forest Floor Weaving

Create your own mossy textile through the ancient art of Tapestry Weaving during this two hour workshop at Arthur's Market

Learn the art of tapestry weaving during this 2 hour workshop. Using a mini 5"x5" frame loom and a variety of yarns and fibers such as wool roving, silk, and wool locks, you will learn how to weave patterns and textures to evoke the mossy magic of the forest floor, all set up on a wooden box frame so your weaving is ready to hang at the end of the session. The workshop will cover four different weaving techniques to bring your moss textile to life!

During our workshop there will be food and drinks available for purchase from the prepared fridges, including beer, wine and seltzer, salads and snacks so you can enjoy some of the lovely Arthur's treats while you work on your weaving!
