<p>Forest therapy is inspired by the Japanese practice of Shinrin-Yoku, which translates to “forest bathing.” Studies have demonstrated a wide array of health benefits, especially in the cardiovascular and immune systems, and for stabilizing and improving mood and cognition. Join Maureen Stine, certified forest therapy guide, as she leads a gentle forest bathing walk at a nearby nature preserve. Maureen will share various sensory invitations to promote mindfulness in nature. Come relax, recharge, renew and restore your own authentic relationship with nature. </p><p>Class is limited to 12 people. Pre-registration is required. Class fee: $30.</p>
