Let’s sit in the sun, open our ears and hearts, and breathe into the rhythm of the river and woods. We can reconnect with life larger than ourselves and return to a wholesome presence.Walks include: Nourishing plant based snack &amp; teaDetails on meeting location/health waiver and what you will need to bring will be emailed a couple days prior to the event. As we will be moving slowly over a gentle landscape, the practice of Forest and Nature therapy is accessible to people of all fitness levels and abilities. This walk is appropriate for teens onward. If you are interested in an experience with younger children please contact us. Please note, however, this event will take place on both paved pathways and unpaved trails.This is a small group event, following strict Covid guidelines.Note: as this event is weather sensitive it may postponed We will meet at the North Entrance (corner of 37 St and 66 Ave SW) by the grey shed.This walk is led by Amarin Dawn. Amarin is a guide with the Association of Nature and Forest Therapy, a certified Mindfulness Meditation &amp; Yoga Teacher, Outdoor Council of Canada hiking guide and apprentice guide with Interpretive Guides of Canada, Wilderness Medic and most importantly, lover of the natural world! She inspires a remembrance of ones true nature and deep connection within the tapestry of life. She lives, works and plays at the foothills of the Canadian Rockies, respecting these are Treaty 7 lands.
