Frequently asked questions

Are kids able to attend?

Yes! Our garden is safe for children and has activities available to them if they prefer to stay on the sidelines.

Are pets allowed?

Pets are not allowed on volunteer days but are welcome in the garden during our normal open hours.

What should I wear?

Please wear whatever you don't mind getting dirty. Crocs are not recommended.

Is there a restroom?

Yes. During the season we have a port-a-potty available and our local library is a 5-minute walk from the garden.

How long do I need to stay?

We appreciate any time you are able to donate to our garden. You are welcome to come in any time during the volunteer window. You can also come by the garden on a volunteer day for a tour and to get to know our members. Our goal is to share our space and allow visitors to enjoy the garden.
