About this event

Have an adventure while learning how to forage freely for mulberries, serviceberries, wild onions, lambs quarters, and much more!  You will also learn about your vertical growing techniques and some of the unique ways in which we have been able to maintain a local strawberry harvest all year long! We will be meeting up at 10 AM at a location in NE, DC. We will enjoy refreshments with homegrown ingredients, tour the garden space, and then venture out on a foraging walk where we will definitely encounter mulberries and serviceberries amongst other seasonal produce growing all around us. Come prepared to share some recipes on how you'll want to preserve your haul- You can keep what you collect!  Great for drinks, jams, or just snacking.
