Create your one-of-a-kind fall wreath with farm-fresh greens, foraged with Master Gardener guides as you stroll flat and gently sloping grass and dirt trails throughout our 63-acre property.

What a gem of a place &amp; program." - Kit Carson, 2024 workshop participant</blockquote> Utilize fresh and found materials gathered on-site to create a seasonal wreath featuring magnolia, cedar, pine, rosemary, sumac, and more.Relax with a gentle guided walk with NC State Extension Master Gardener Volunteers as they teach about native plants, basic pruning, and DIY wreath-making.Fee includes all instruction and materials.20% of proceeds go toward local school &amp; community garden projects supported by the Extension Master Gardener Volunteer Association of Granville and Person County.Extend Your Visit with a Picnic Lunch!Bring refreshments to enjoy at our picnic area after the session, while you take-in the fresh air and fall views.Additional Details<ul><li>Ages 12 and up welcome. Explore flat and gently sloping grass and dirt trails throughout the 63-acre property. Master Gardener Volunteers will identify plants and demonstrate beginner pruning and foraging techniques while answering questions.

Guided Foraging Walk 

 Master Gardener Volunteers will guide you through the process of creating your own handmade wreath using fresh greens and found materials.
